Computer Education License and Educational Technology Facilitation

This program will provide a computer education license to any Indiana licensed teacher holding a current high school license. Individuals interested in adding this license should consult with an advisor from one of the following departments: Curriculum, Instruction, and Media Technology or Elementary, Early, and Special Education. The addition of this license may be completed only at the graduate level.

Prerequisites:
Candidates must have completed a teacher preparation program since 2000; successfully completed Curriculum, Instruction, and Media Technology 447/547—3 hrs. or its equivalent; passed a performance examination, or prepare a digital portfolio that shows candidate fulfillment of the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers. Note:
Courses in the 500 series are open to undergraduates as *400 series. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. A course taken at the 400 level may not be repeated at the 500 level. |
