This program is designed for students who primarily want to teach middle school mathematics. The program also better prepares future educators to navigate the unique developmental stage of middle school students.

This program has the following minimum GPA requirements: 2.50 overall GPA. Students who are admitted to the University in good standing and who have satisfactorily completed all prerequisites may apply for admission to the educator preparation program BCP I. Indiana State University’s priority date for filing the FAFSA is April 15. Students must earn 30 credit hours each academic year in order to maximize financial aid from the state of Indiana.
