Technology and Engineering Education Major–Secondary

Degree Map

This major prepares students to teach in the areas of pre-engineering, communications, construction, manufacturing, biotechnology, and transportation/power and energy at the middle school, junior high, or senior high level.

Directed Electives (9-24 credits):


Required 9 credit hours of electives selected in consultation with the advisor, or an 18–24 hour minor.

Teacher Education Program (31 credits):


Senior high-junior high/middle school instructional license as described in the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Media Technology.
