English Minor

The English minor fosters skills in critical analysis, independent thinking, creativity, research, and writing through a focus on both literature and creative writing. The program is designed to lay a foundation for a wide range of careers in which clear communication and thinking, as well as research skills, are needed.

Electives:
- 3 credits in American literature at the junior-senior level
- 3 credits in English literature before 1800 at the junior-senior level
- 3 credits in English literature since 1800 at the junior-senior level
Note:
All electives must be approved by an advisor in the department. Foundational Studies Requirements:
English liberal arts minors must take the following as Foundational Studies writing courses. |
