The practice of accounting is of growing importance in the creation and use of information for planning, controlling, and evaluating the activities of all businesses and organizations. ISU’s Accounting Program offers students preparation for these growing careers through a foundation of study in general knowledge, business, and accounting principles.
A grade of C or better is required in all accounting courses including BUS 201 and 202.
Business Core - All Four Year Majors (54 credits):
A requirement to this plan is to become fully admitted to the Scott College of Business by the end of the fourth semester. College of Business Admission (COBA) requires: an average GPA of 2.25 or higher in BUS 100, BUS 180, BUS 201, BUS 205, and ECON 200; completion of freshman English composition, communication, and MATH 105.
Indiana State University’s priority date for filing the FAFSA is April 15. Students must earn 30 credit hours each academic year in order to maximize financial aid from the state of Indiana.
