Biology (without thesis) M.S.

Research:

• BIO 692 - Research in Biology 1-10 credits

Major:

• At least 11-13 additional credits of biology, ecology, and organismal biology, or life  sciences course work.

• BIO 690 - Seminar: Life Sciences 1 credits

Other Requirements:

• 6 credits of course work outside the department.

Electives:

• 8 credits of directed electives.

Culminating Experience:

Satisfactory performance on an oral and/or written examination given by an examining committee selected from the graduate faculty.

Note:

At least 16 credits must be in courses numbered 600 or above.

Note:

Courses in the 500 series are open to undergraduates as *400 series. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. A course taken at the 400 level may not be repeated at the 500 level.
