The Master of Science in Human Resource Development program has as its purpose the preparation of people to be effective professionals providing essential services in industry, higher education, social agencies, and government. Competencies designed into the program focus on planning, managing, organizing, and evaluating education, training, and other human resource development activities.
Specialization in a technical area or a thesis are program options. If the specialization option is selected, 12 credits could be designed into the program which enhance a current area of concentration or add a new dimension. The thesis option provides the opportunity for in-depth research.
