Mental Health Counselor Endorsement Non-degree Certification Program

Students will be admitted on a selective basis upon application to the College of Graduate and Professional Studies and the Department of Communication Disorders and Counseling, School, and Educational Psychology in a manner specified by the College of Graduate and Professional Studies and the department. Applicants will be required to be graduates of 48-credit counseling programs (M.A. or M.S.) who are in good standing with their degree granting institutions at the time of graduation. Documentation of pre-degree and any post-degree supervised clinical experience will also be required. Professional recommendations will also be required from postdegree clinical supervisors.
These individuals will work with the director of the master’s program in the department to develop a program of study to ensure meeting of standards and course work requirements for endorsement.

Note:
Courses in the 500 series are open to undergraduates as *400 series. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. A course taken at the 400 level may not be repeated at the 500 level. |
