Research:

MATH 695 Mathematics Research–6 credits.

Mathematics Core

The Mathematics core consists of four of the following courses (12 credits).

Electives:

15 credits approved by the department.

Culminating Experience:

Successful oral defense of the student’s thesis administered in MATH 695 by the student’s graduate faculty committee.

Note:

At least one-half of the credit hours must be in courses numbered 600 or above.

Note:

Courses in the 500 series are open to undergraduates as *400 series. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. A course taken at the 400 level may not be repeated at the 500 level.
