(32 credits minimum)
The career and technical education program has as its purpose the continued development of the professional and technical knowledge of persons teaching in the discipline. Persons enrolled in this degree program teach in secondary schools, community colleges, and career centers. This is not an initial teacher licensure program. However, applicants that have passed the State-approved teacher licensing tests may be eligible for teacher licensure through the Indiana Department of Education.

Note:
Fifty percent of the credit hours in the program must be in courses numbered 600 level or above. A minimum of 18 hours in courses must be from the Department of Human Resource Development and Performance Technologies.
Note:
Courses in the 500 series are open to undergraduates as *400 series. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. A course taken at the 400 level may not be repeated at the 500 level. |
