Automation and Control Engineering Technology Minor

The Minor in Automation and Control Engineering Technology is designed to provide students with experiential learning in computer applications and electronic equipment related to automation and control system design and development. Topic areas included in the minor are basic electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, microprocessor controller programming, systems interfacing for automation, and computer systems management. There are no prerequisites for entering the minor, but the student should be familiar with the use of computers and have some experience with computer programming.
