The business administration major is designed to offer students an opportunity to customize their education in business and has the flexibility to meet their individual interests in specific business disciplines. Business administration majors complete the required business core of courses and an additional nine credits at the 300-400 level in each of three business emphasis program areas. The emphasis areas are selected from three program groupings. These business emphasis areas include: accounting; business education, information, and technology; finance and real estate; insurance and risk management; management; management information systems; marketing; or operations management and analysis. Completion of this major leads to careers in a variety of business areas.

Emphasis Area 1: Managing the Enterprise (9 credits)
Choose 9 credits from management or marketing courses. Emphasis Area 2: Managing Financial Resources (9 credits)
Choose 9 credits from accounting, finance, or insurance and risk management courses. Emphasis Area 3: Operations and Systems (9 credits)
Choose 9 credits from busines education, information and technology courses, management information systems, or operations management and analysis courses. Note:
