This course explores technology concepts and internal controls for optimizing accounting information systems. Focus areas include complex business cycles, e-commerce, communication networks, database management, data quality, and data visualization. Students will learn to audit and secure computer-based systems, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance data integrity, security, and compliance.
