APN 624 - Health Assessment and Health Promotion for Advanced Nursing Practice

3 Credits
This course focuses on systematic health data collection, organization, documentation, and communication while distinguishing normal from pathological findings across the lifespan. Emphasizing a holistic approach, it examines developmental, familial, cultural, environmental, and nutritional factors influencing health. Clinical experiences provide opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world nursing practice.

Prerequisites
APN 601, APN 605, APN 633, BIO 633, AHS 604 or EPSY 612 (or other approved statistical course substitutions) or consent of instructor.

Note
This course has 50 clinical hours required, 3 credit hours (2 lecture/1 clinical).
