3 Credits This course provides advanced knowledge of psychopharmacology for acute and chronic mental health conditions across the life span. This course emphasizes the knowledge necessary to select and interpret the appropriate laboratory diagnostic procedures used in monitoring the physiological, psychiatric and behavioral responses to pharmacological interventions.
Prerequisites Successful completion of APN 610.
Restrictions Admission to the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program/certificate in the School of Nursing or consent of course instructor.
