2 Credits This course will allow students to explore concepts of public health and how athletic training is situated to leverage public health initiatives. Students will learn about injury risk, access to health care, common health disparities, and population health across the lifespan. Students will engage in learning activities aimed at advocacy for the health needs of patients, communities, and populations.
