SPED 634A - Practicum Mild Interventions3 Credits This course is a field experience for the graduate level. The purpose of this course is for candidates to gain hands-on experience providing instruction for students with mild to moderate disabilities in a school setting. Candidates must complete 60 practicum hours in a school setting with 45 hours being direct contact with students who have mild to moderate disabilities. The school setting must have at least three students who have IEPs and are identified as having a mild to moderate disability. Candidates will be supervised by a mentor teacher and an ISU faculty member.
Prerequisites SPED 607, SPED 698D, and SPED 623
Co-requisites SPED 622
Restrictions Instructor approval.
