SPED 607 - Diversity and Disability in Today’s Schools

A study of diversity and disability in the classroom. Emphasis on how teachers must accommodate diverse students in the learning environment. Techniques on creating a classroom environment in group diversity and individual uniqueness are recognized and celebrated. Includes integration of national and state standards into planning to teach diverse learners.
