MBA 611 - General Management Tools II: Law, Business, and Society2 Credits A review of the legal, political, social, and economic context of business. Special attention will be given to the use of law in regulating the role of business in society, ethics, the free market, the rise of the corporation, and comparative international aspects, as well as introducing the areas of contracts and torts. The theme of the course is the relation between managerial decision making and the business environment.
Note The student must be admitted to the graduate school and the M.B.A. Program. The student must have completed the required field of competencies. May be taken concurrently with 610. Course Fee $129 per credit hour
