AFRI 445 - Film Theory and Criticism: African Films 3 hours
Description This course examines the role of film in developing nations in Africa. The course looks at films from the African continent and deals with the ways that films made outside the dominant culture both reflect their own worlds and respond to views expressed in the dominant (Hollywood) cinema.
