AFRI 325 - Survey of Blues and Rock 3 hours
Description An examination of the development of blues and rock as well as the roots of these genres, including jazz, ragtime, gospel, country, etc. Emphasis is placed on significant stylistic trends and musical artists, as well as their cultural and historical contexts.
Note No prior musical experience required.
