8 Credits A comprehensive review of human anatomy and physiology integrating biochemistry and microbiology with an emphasis on cellular foundations for the diagnosis and treatment of human illness. The course intergrates clinical application of human anatomy and physiology. Cadaver dissection and anatomical identification is the foundation of the course. Biochemical and cellular foundations for homeostasis and pathophygiologic response are explored. Application of clinical anatomy with integration of physiologic mechamisms for disease processes as the basis for developing differential diagnoses is revealed in the course.
Prerequisites Admission to the Physician Assistant Program.
