BUS 305 - Introduction to Business Forecasting & Analytics

Description This course builds upon statistical concepts begun in 205. Students place an emphasis on problem solving for decision-making as they learn concepts of forecasting and business analytics. Topics include ANOVA, linear, nonlinear and multiple regression, business forecasting techniques, optimization, simulation and data visualization. Students will use spreadsheets and other current statistical and business software. Timely and topical applications will be incorporated in this class.
Prerequisites BUS 205; BUS 180 or equivalent; Math 105, Math 115 or equivalent
