AHS 520 - Medical Nutrition Therapy I3 credits This course addresses the basics for oral dietary modifications necessary to meet the needs of the body during pathological conditions while identifying complex metabolic and physiological interrelationships. Application of the nutrition care process to assess, diagnose, plan intervention, monitor and evaluate patient outcomes.
Prerequisites AHS 221 or consent of instructor.
