AFRI 354 - Post-Colonial Africa 3 credits
Description This course will encourage students to explore major political, economic, and social issues of post-colonial Africa. Specific attention will be devoted to the impact of independence upon African societies and their peoples, industrialization, communication, urbanization, and Western education. In this course students will master the fundamentals of African geography and politics.
