MATH 010 - Pre-Algebra

3 credits

Description
Whole numbers and the language of algebra; algebraic expressions involving whole numbers, fractions; decimals; concepts and formulas from geometry; operations on signed numbers; using signed numbers; solving equations; ratio, proportion, and percent; interpreting data from statistics and graphs; analyzing word problems.

Prerequisites
Appropriate placement examination (MAPLE T.A.) score.

Note
Does not count as credit toward graduation. Grades earned are S or U only and not counted in the student’s grade point average.
