MATH 102 - Quantitative Literacy 3 credits

Description Interpret formulas, graphs, and tables to draw inferences from them. Represent mathematical information symbolically, visually, numerically, and verbally. Use arithmetic, algebraic, geometric, statistical, and financial computational methods to solve problems. Determine reasonableness of answers and select optimal results. Recognize mathematical and statistical limits of methods.
Prerequisites Appropriate placement examination (MAPLE T.A.) score or MATH 011.
