• MATH 530 - Real Variables I 3 credits
• MATH 531 - Complex Variables I 3 credits
• MATH 616 - Algebra I 3 credits
• MATH 617 - Algebra II 3 credits

Electives:

• 8 credits approved by the department.

Culminating Experience:

Successful oral defense of the student’s thesis administered by the student’s graduate faculty committee.

Note:

At least one-half of the credit hours must be in courses numbered 600 or above.
