Concentration in Liberal Arts Mathematics (15-16 credits)


The Concentration in Liberal Arts Mathematics requires the Mathematics Core and 4 Mathematics Electives. In addition, it requires MATH 494 Senior Seminar as a culiminating experience

Concentration in Mathematics Teaching (51 credits)


The Concentration in Mathematics Teaching will lead to licensure in Mathematics for grades 5-12. In addition to the Mathematics Core, student will take 19 hours of additional mathematics and 32 hours of Education Courses for licensure. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA in their Mathematics Courses and must earn a C or better in each of their Education Courses.  Students must maintain an overall 2.5 GPA to earn this concentration.

Concentration in Middle School Mathematics Teaching (44 credits)


This concentration prepares students for licensure in Mathematics for grades 5-9.  In addition to the Mathematics Core, students will take 12 hours of additional mathematics and 32 hours of Education Courses for licensure. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA in their Mathematics Courses and must earn a C or better in each of their Education Courses.  Students must maintain an overall 2.5 GPA to earn this concentration.
