Early Childhood Education Transition to Teaching

The Early Childhood Education Transition to Teaching Program (a graduate-level, certificate, initial-licensure program) is designed to meet the needs of post baccalaureate candidates who wish to expedite their training. Successful completion of the program and passing scores on all applicable licensing tests are required in order to be recommended for an Indiana instructional license. The program is to be completed through a series of sequential courses which are based upon the primary curriculum and instruction, as well as developmental characteristics of P-3 learners, multicultural characteristics of P-3 learners, assessment, and management of students.
