The Master of Arts in Mathematics is designed for high school teachers seeking certification to teach dual-credit courses and for individuals aspiring to teach mathematics at the college level. The program culminates in a capstone experience, which may be either a research project in a specific area of mathematics or a project focused on mathematics education.

Probability and Statistics (6 Credits)
Select two of the following courses: Teaching and Learning (9 Credits)
Select three of the following courses. Note that Math 608 may be repeated with different topics. Advanced Methods (3 Credits)

At least one-half of the credit hours must be in courses numbered 600 or above. Note:
Courses in the 500 series are open to undergraduates as *400 series. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. A course taken at the 400 level may not be repeated at the 500 level. |
