Entrepreneurship Minor

Learn how to create your own future while following your passions and projects! This minor teaches students how to evaluate the viability of an opportunity, prepare a start-up business plan emphasizing financing, legal, ethical, and environmental aspects of creating and managing a new venture.

Required Courses (9 credits)

MGT 410 - Entrepreneurship Fundamentals 3 Credits
MGT 444 - New Venture Creation Strategy 3 Credits
MGT 461 - New Venture Experience 3 Credits

Electives (6 credits)

Any 300-400 level courses in the Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, and Operations & Supply Chain Management programs, and other courses as approved by the Management faculty advisor. Required courses for Management Majors cannot be used as electives for this minor.
