Learning Outcomes
Economic major helps students master economic theory and practice, as well as to analyze economic problems and evaluate public policy. The major provides students with a logical structure and careful reasoning skills. The major thus provides students with preparation for a variety of careers ranging across government, academia, and business. Students wishing to teach economics at the high school level should consider a Social Studies Education degree with economics as a concentration.
