Learning Outcomes  

The Business Administration major gives students the opportunity to design a diversified program.  Fields in business that are available as emphasis areas are: accounting, economics, finance, insurance and risk management, management, management information systems, marketing, operations management and analysis, and real estate. 

Admission to the program is limited to those who have earned 75 credit hours or more

Required Courses for Business Administration Majors (27 credits):


Select one emphasis area for 9 credit hours and complete 18 credit hours of electives at the 300-400 level within the College of Business. Emphasis areas may include: accounting; economics; finance; human resource development, insurance and risk management; management; marketing; or operations and supply chain management.

Note:


Students must submit an approved career curriculum plan. Approved emphasis courses must be taken at 300-400 level. BEIT 336 and MKTG 301 are not permitted as business emphasis courses.

Directed Electives (18 credit hours)


Students must select 18 credit hours of electives at the 300-400 level within the College of Business that are outside of their emphasis area. BEIT 336 and MKTG 301 are not permitted as business elective courses.
