Student Outcomes  

This program teaches students the skills and knowledge of engineering technology management.  Understanding modern industrial practices will enhance your leadership and management abilities.

Requirements


Required courses for freshmen or transfer students without an approved technical associate of science or an associate of applied science degree:

or degree completion with associate of science (46 credits)


Degree completion requirements for transfer students with an associate of science from a regionally accredited college in a related technical area This option is designed primarily to be a degree completion program that articulates with regionally accredited associate of science degree programs in industrial and engineering technology related areas. 

Required Math courses: (7 credits)


Remaining Foundational Studies as per ISU Policy (6 credits):


  • Junior level composition 3 credits (see Foundational Studies Program)
  • Ethics and social responsibility 3 credits (see Foundational Studies Program)
  • Upper division integrative electives 3 credits satisfied in major by ET 421 (see Foundational Studies Program)
  • High Impact Practice 3 credits Satisfied in major by ET 499 (see Foundational Studies Program)

or degree completion with associate of applied science (58 credits)


This option is designed primarily to be a degree completion program that articulates with regionally accredited associate of applied science degree programs in industrial and engineering technology related areas. 

Required Math courses: (7 credits)


Remaining Foundational Studies as per ISU Policy (up to 18 credits)


Unless satisfied in transfer course by course.

Historical Perspectives 3 credits

Global Perspectives and Cultural Diversity 3 credits

Upper Division Integrative Electives: 3 credits (satisfied in major by ET 421)

This program has the following minimum GPA requirements: 2.00 overall GPA; 2.00 in all Major course work. This program may not be eligible for Sycamore Graduation Guarantee depending upon student preparation.
