Degree Map
Students in this program will complete an undergraduate major that can serve as a prerequisite for admission to a graduate program for professional preparation in speech-language pathology or as an entry level degree for a number of other careers. Completion of a master’s degree is required to obtain the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and state licensure to engage in clinical practice. Baccalaureate degree requirements are outlined below.

Note:
All students must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 declare the major and to enroll in CD 398. To be eligible to take advanced clinical coursework (CD 400) students must maintain a minimum overall grade point average of 3.0. A grade of ‘C’ is required for all CD courses in the major.

This program has the following minimum GPA requirements: 2.50 in all Major required course work. To declare major a minimum overall GPA of 2.75 is required. CD 400 requires a minimum overall GPA of 3.00.
