Student Outcomes
Civil Engineering Technology provides students with the opportunity to examine and interpret prints and specifications; confer with contractors and owners to enforce contract specifications, building codes, and zoning ordinances; test soils, asphalt, and concrete, and inspect other related construction activities; perform land surveying and CAD; and observe building, highway, and utility construction.

This program has the following minimum GPA requirements: 2.00 overall GPA; 2.00 in all Major course work. Program may not be eligible for Sycamore Graduation Guarantee depending upon student preparation.
Spring 4th Year
- CVET 420 - Highway Design 3 Credits (Spring Only)
- ET 499 - Senior Project 3 Credits
- ENGR 427 - Structural Analysis 3 Credits
- ET 405 - Economic Analysis for Engineering and Technology 3 Credits
