Chemistry Minor

The chemistry minor offers students the opportunity to explore chemistry both in terms of theoretical principles and experimental practices. The program features hands-on use of instrumentation as well as the rigorous application of computer-based data acquisition and analysis methods.

Choose one of the following:
One 3- or 4- credit chemistry course at the 300 or 400 level with the exception of 330, 399, 495, or 499. Note:
No course required for the Chemistry Minor will count towards the Chemistry Minor if taken Pass/Fail. For the Chemistry Minor at least the following must be completed at Indiana State University: - 3-4 CHEM credits from lecture and/or laboratory courses at the 3- or 400 level (with the exception of 330, 351, 352, 330L, 351L, and 352L) with a GPA of at least 2.2 earned for these credits.
- For students completing both the Chemistry Minor and the Biochemistry Minor, CHEM 431/L, 432, and/or 487 may each only be counted toward one of the minors.
The Chemistry Minor is not available to students who have declared the Chemistry Major. |
