Degree Map Financial Planning Concentration

Learning Outcomes  

Finance program provides students with an understanding of the financial and legal dimensions of business planning.  The major is a good fit for students who enjoy working with numbers, have an aptitude for technology, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

The Financial Planning Concentration will give students the knowledge needed to make and implement decisions regarding managing, investing, and distributing financial resources for businesses and individuals.

A requirement to this plan is to become fully admitted to the Scott College of Business by the end of the fourth semester. College of Business Admission (COBA) requires: an average GPA of 2.25 or higher in BUS 100 , BUS 180 , BUS 201 , BUS 205 , and ECON 200 ; completion of freshman English composition, communication, and MATH 105 .
