Learning Outcomes  

The Organizational Leadership and Supervision (OLS) program will provide the competencies needed to undertake leadership and supervisory roles that complement the technical expertise required by various industries and non-profit organizations.  

OLS provides a flexible, convenient, and individualized approach to education for adult students who have earned approximately 60 college credits. The online core program is delivered in accelerated eight-week courses. Advisors help students identify prior learning experiences that may qualify for college credit, including military training, non-collegiate sponsored training, proficiency exams and work experiences.

  • The OLS Program can help students:

    • Acquire skills, knowledge, and attitudes that will enhance them personally as well as professionally
    • Advance in their chosen careers or change careers
    • Become more marketable in today’s competitive labor market
    • Complete an educational program started but never finished
    • Attain a global perspective from an online network of fellow students
    • Feel more confident in their professional and personal aspirations
    • Prepare for graduate study

Eighteen Hour Track (18 credits):


Can be fulfilled with an Indiana State University minor, certificate, or interdisciplinary course work approved by advisor.
