The objective of this degree is to provide an opportunity for graduate students to further develop their knowledge and understanding in the area of coaching. The program blends field experiences with classroom courses that present cutting edge knowledge in coaching education. The objectives of the curriculum are aligned with those identified in the National Standards for Sport Coaches (NASPE 2006) and NCACE Accreditation Level 5.

Courses in the 500 series are open to undergraduates as *400 series. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. A course taken at the 400 level may not be repeated at the 500 level. |
