Social Work (TSAP)

The Social Work program prepares students to work with a variety of people in settings like public welfare agencies, correctional facilities, health organizations, schools, research institutions, and other community programs. Students will learn about counseling, managing human services, analyzing social welfare policy, facilitating community organization and development, supporting client advocacy, engaging in social and political research, and more.

Degree Map (TSAP)
This program has the following minimum GPA requirements: 2.50 overall GPA; 2.50 in all Major required course work.
**In the ISU curriculum, SOWK 382 and SOWK 384 have prerequisites of admission to the BSW program and that admission requires completion of SOWK 240 and SOWK 270. For TSAP students the department will allow (by automatically granted petition) concurrent enrollment in SOWK 240, 270, 382, and 384.
