Business Administration Major

One of the most popular majors in the College of Business, the business administration major, is designed to offer students an opportunity to customize their education in business and has the flexibility to meet their individual interests in specific business disciplines. Business administration majors complete the required business core of courses and an additional six hours at the 300-400 level in each of three selected business areas. These business areas include: accounting; business education, information, and technology; economics; finance; insurance; management; management information systems; marketing; operations management and analysis; or real estate. Completion of this major leads to careers in a variety of business areas.

Choose 6 hours from each of three areas: accounting; operations management and analysis; economics; finance; insurance; management; marketing; real estate; management information systems; or business education, information, and technology (300-400 level courses). Students should consult an advisor for the specific courses in each area.
