The Computer science minor cultivates a student’s problem solving solving through the study of computation. Computer science requires logical thinking, mathematical ability, problem-solving skills, and analytical thought. Students will become equated with areas including databases, networking, operating systems, programming languages, computer architecture, multimedia, artificial intelligence, mobile computing, big data, computer graphics and software engineering.

Directed Electives in Computer Science (9 credits):
All elective credits must come from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, with at least 6 credits at the upper division level. |
