The Textiles, Apparel, and Merchandising (TAM) Program prepare students to pursue a wide variety of careers in the creation and distribution of textile and apparel products (also known as the softgoods or fashion industry) specific to design, merchandising, and product development. The major requires 52 credit hours in courses that expose students to a variety of industry related topics. Students are required to complete 9 credits of electives OR complete a minor.

TAM Core Curriculum
The TAM core courses promote the understanding of the integrative and global nature of the clothing and textiles industry, including human satisfaction for clothing, needs, and wants for clothing, and the distribution of clothing. Directed Electives
Students must complete 9 hours of Textiles, Apparel, and Merchandising Directed Electives. |
