The University offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Recreation and Sport Management.
Coursework includes 3 required core courses (9 credits)—plus a concentration selected from the following areas:
Recreation Management and Youth Leadership
Recreation Therapy
Sport Management
Specific Program Requirements:
Sport Management: Students must earn a C or better in each course within the concentration.
In addition, all students will complete a fieldwork experience prior to an internship.
Sport Management students will be required to earn a B (3.0) or better in the concentration in order to register for the internship (RCSM 491). Students that earn below a 3.0 will be required to complete 6 credits hours of directed electives (RCSM 425 & RCSM 440).
