Requirements for Award of Minor

Award of this minor requires completion of the social work major curriculum including the following courses:

• AHS 340 - Health Biostatistics 3 credits
• SOWK 384 - Social Work Research 3 credits

Required Psychology (9 credits)

• PSY 101 - General Psychology: Understanding Human Behavior 3 credits
• PSY 362 - Psychology of Personality 3 credits
• PSY 368 - Introduction to Abnormal Psychology 3 credits

Directed Electives (3 credits)

One psychology course chosen in consultation with the social work advisor.
