Nursing Major - Baccalaureate Track for Students Entering with L.P.N./L.V.N. Licensure

Students must successfully complete all required prerequisite support courses prior to admission into the major.
Proof of current unencumbered licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is required as a prerequisite for admittance into the LPN to BSN track along with other compliance items such as but not limited to professional liability insurance, national background check, proof on immunizations, and CPR certification. Additional admission requirements and admission process can be found on the Department of Baccalaureate Nursing Completion web site.
The admission, progression, retention, dismissal and graduation policies may be found in the Student Handbook located on the Department of Baccalaureate Nursing Completion website. A C or higher is required in all Prerequisite Support Courses, Required Nursing Courses for the Major, and Required Support Courses for the Major. After admission, a cumulative GPA of 2.25 in the major is required.
