• 13 credits of food and nutrition electives at least 9 of which must be 600 level.

Other Requirements:

• 3 additional credits of 600-level graduate study outside the department.

• A thesis or comprehensive written examination, followed by an oral defense.

Courses in the 500 series are open to undergraduates as *400 series. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. A course taken at the 400 level may not be repeated at the 500 level.
