(45 credits)
The degree in communication is a combination of required core courses, the selection of one concentration, and 15 credits of electives (a minimum of 3 credits must be chosen from each category of courses in the department: applied courses, context courses, and theory/research/criticism courses); an additional 6 credits may be chosen in consultation with an advisor. A minimum of 9 credits must be at the 300/400 level). Students must complete a minor outside of the Department of Communication. (Note: students who complete the Univesity Honors Program or a second major or degree satisfay the requirement.)
